Multiple squeakers to entertain your dog.

• There are smaller squeakers in each of the legs and a larger squeaker in the cow’s body. The two different size squeakers make different sounds, the smaller one is higher pitched. This gives your dog some variety in the sounds that the toy makes.

• This dog toy is made with “Tuffut Technology”. There is a two layer lining on the inside of the toy but the outside of the toy is soft and snuggly. As soon as you pick up this toy, you can feel how strongly made it is. Does this mean that it’s ok to give to your dog as a chew toy? No, but it is definitely built to withstand day to day play for a dog who is not an aggressive chewer.

Safe

• The HuggleHounds Valentine Coy Cow Knottie is made with your dog’s safety in mind. There are no plastic parts for your dog to swallow. The stitching is strong and it is well put together.

Knotted legs for tugging

• Each of the 4 legs of this toy is knotted. This is great for playing tug with your dog. My dog enjoys this part of the toy as tug is one of his favorite games.

Not suitable for an aggressive chewer.

• Athough this toy is highly durable (one of the most durable plush toys I’ve seen), it’s just not suitable for an aggressive chewer. This toy will last longer than your average plush toy but if your dog instantly shreds stuffed toys, then you are better off sticking with something like the Petstages stick or the Petstages deer antler.

We rated the toy 4 stars for safety. Although there are no plastic parts for your dog to choke on, there is potential for your dog to pull off the tail eventually, which could be swallowed. Like with any plush toy, supervise your dog.

For appearance, we rated this toy 5 stars. Let’s face it, this is a cute toy! It looks soft, well made and adorable.

We rated the quality of this toy 5 stars. As far as plush toys go, this toy is made with high quality materials and built to withstand day to day play.

For chew proof, we rated this toy 2 stars. This toy is not meant to be a chew toy for a power chewer. It can withstand some chewing but if your dog shreds toys, no plush toy will stand a chance.

We rated overall impression 5 stars. We were impressed with this toy. My dog loved it too! It’s now one of his favorite toys.
